Last night, the Dingman Center awarded a total of $8,500 in grant funding to student entrepreneurs in the Hatch stage of the Fearless Founders. The National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) sponsored eight $500 seed grants providing funding for technology development, including product prototypes, web site development or other proof of concept expenses. A $2,500 Capital One MVP Grant was awarded to the student who most demonstrated that they embraced the Fearless Founders program and customer discovery process. This winning student has clearly identified how the seed money will directly fund actionable next steps and key activities of building and selling their MVP.
