Terp Marketplace Brings Homecoming Festivities to the Smith School

Fall is here and the entrepreneurial spirit is in the air! To celebrate homecoming weekend at the Smith School, the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship hosted Terp Marketplace on Friday; student entrepreneurs set up their businesses and sold their products and services directly to students, staff, faculty and alumni who were participating in the festivities. We had a fantastic turnout of entrepreneurs who were eager to test the market and get feedback on their businesses. Below is the list of students that participated in the event. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported these student entrepreneurs, and we’re already looking forward to the next Terp Marketplace in spring!

BLK Customs – Kristina Bayton
Customizable/premade hat designs where the design on the front can be removed and attached to the back.

Designs and Decals – Raniya Sheikh
Creates designs and decals to fulfill your creative needs.

Emprology – Sydney Parker
A digital brand and influencer that provides creative content services and strategies.

Good Stuff Good Works – Jessica Rosenthal
A project under the Enactus organization that sells artisanal, beaded bracelets crafted by a cooperative of indigenous women in Ecuador.

Harrison’s Takeout – Harrison Adetunji
Homemade and healthy takeout food.

A digital platform that connects art enthusiasts with artists in the tattoo industry.

Power Paks – Chandler Hughes
Providing students a bundle of products such as Gatorade, trail mix, and granola bars to give them the energy needed to get through the day.
